I've been kayaking for years but I'm learning playboating. Ideally I'd like to meet other playboaters who can teach an old dog new tricks. I don't care what age, race, sex or sexuality you are as long as you can paddle and have all the required saftey gear. A paddler is a paddler is a paddler as I always say.
I live by the Deschines on the Ottawa side. I don't have a car so it would probably have to be at the Deschines or the Champlain Bridge.
If you are not into playboating I still have my old kayak and would be willing to do some river running instead.
The Britannia Yacht Club side of the Deschines looks very interesting with the water this high. It could be a fun drop to do if we scout it properly first.
I've taken the summer off to paddle and I am available 24/7.
